"2-0 with the 2nd scored late on after a few nervy moments at the back"

Congrats on getting the score correct!

But no late goal nor nervy so hardly "pretty close to totally right"

Attended today and very glad to report the growing confidence I had a inkling of was very much on show, most especially in that first 45 min. We were well worth that two goal cushion, but it is hard to pick out individuals that were the main reason. As, as far as I could see, all were eager to be 'involved' and contributing in a darn sight more of a offensive mind set than previous showings.
I have to say that for me, one of the prime reasons was Lawrence playing just behind and in support of JR, and what a engine he's got, plus good feet. JR, for me, contributes far more when this set up is employed ie a closer partnership with a 'supportive/close by' midfield.
Also pleased to see Evans finally showing some of his much earlier form and being more involved.
Duffy at the back was good and just got on with 'business'.
It was understandable that we were not going to have it as much our own way in the second half, but although I was disappointed to see Lawrence being held back for all

Amazing what can be acheived when you play a settled side and cut out the tinkering, esp back 4..

Evans is finally beginning to look like the player I thought he was when first signed . Then he got the bad injury on NI duty and has taken a long time to get back to where he was and he will get better .
