SM and Footy Mad forums in general are dying and in some cases dead already

A good thread Ram, something you know I have been thinking for a while now. I have to admit I myself have felt like not posting at times because of lack of folk on here, its hard to keep raising subjects when you get very little feedback after putting the effort in.

New Posters ? Aye we definitely need them, gards has contributed very well and I have enjoyed Acido's input on this forum, we have not locked horns yet on anything specific but he seems to be down to earth and well knowledgeable.

Thank you Alto, its always nice to see positive comments like that and I will always make the effort especially if somebody also does with me. I like having a few giggles with people like Mr Burnsley Alf, and this has been happening for a few years now. I do try and get involved on Clarets mad because I know its a busy board, but I really dont know anybody on there to be a regular poster.

Yo Ram, do you know of Memyself&I, hes another Direby fan who we can share a laugh with on England Mad. Come and say hello to us on Eng Mad as well, I think Direby fans are disappearing fast

I went on the England site a while ago and there were a number of head cases on there (Munch from the Cambridge forum for example) so I stay away now. It wasn't a pleasant experience.

Exactly Rammy some of the characters that were trolling the boards succeeded in killing the boards.

Been posting on footymad for a good few years now,I accidentally stumbled across you lads by chance when chatting to Stan on other forums ,I've enjoyed my time posting on Swindon mad immensly and although I've never met up with any of you lads (due to my travels and being an anti social grumpy old phooker I doubt I ever will do) but I consider you all to be my good friends and enjoy our all our conversations ..you all know to take anything I say with a pinch of salt as I do like to wind up people every now and then.lol..(especially Yawkies Acido)

Actually I tried posting on Cambridge mad for a while and I didnt like it that much, and then somehow I found my way onto here
England mad used to be a much better and busier board but it was allowed to be ruined by a bunch of stirrers who hide behind their keyboards, and there were also some unexplained red cards for a few regulars.
As for your comments Alf, Ive got bags of salt handy rather than just a pinch of the stuff

What regular posters Acido? There were some vindictive *********s on there who used Cambridge too. double / triple posters. The Munch fella who Rammy mentioned attacked me when I posted innocent posts on Cambridge and Carlisle..
I am not embarrassed to say that some of the sh!t was the worse I have witnessed in all my years on these boards. Who ever the poster is is a vile *********. The boards are going quiet and everyone knows this. I used to post on Black Cats but they have all gone and there was loads of them. people complain about adverts but adverts are on most forums. As been said before FB and Twitter have taken a lot away

Well I dont know who that (Munch) person is Gaz but I can well believe it. There was still some garbage on England mad recently between fans spilling over from the Cambridge board, it all got really pathetic. And there were always allegations about certain posters having multi Id's, which I always knew was true.

As for the two who were red carded, Im talking about a Preston and an Accrington fan who used to be regulars on there. I think most of us got sick to death of the number of posters who offered absolutely nothing intelligent or interesting, and who's sole reason for posting was to disagree and wind up every time!!
