I refer you to my post that you responed to and most of mine this season. The football Rovers have been playing has been good to watch. It has not however, produced the desired results. As I said, it was nice to see good football topped off with a couple of goals as reward. Leeds however, took about 25 minutes to get any form of organisation into their team last night. There were two teams on the pitch. One of them looked pretty rubbish last night to me. Thankfully, it wasn't Rovers. As for Weeds new manager, they can keep himOriginally Posted by jordan12rhodes

Apart from the first couple of games, we have played well. It is a result driven game, but as Auck's has said in previous posts you can clearly see that the players believe in what Bowyer is doing. However I don't feel as if I can comment as soundly as those who go week in and week out as when I had the ST I wanted to Kean to choke on his own bollox. Those who live it every day will feel so much different to me...
Quite right, there's nothing like letting your own eyes dictate your opinions upon the 'situation/performance', rather than reading the journo's, or watching the odd match on the box.Originally Posted by bigmoon

It may surprise some that I consider myself a very rational individual who does not get 'carried away' one way or the other. This may well be seen as not being 'passionate enough',

Never had you as a 'happy clapper' Aucks. Nor do I have Champs in the same vein, as you both print common sense. Unlike many of the deranged folk on LT.
My stance is and always has been: Venkys ownership by and large is baffling. As a business venture.
I totally agree that they appear to have learnt from previous mistakes, so if this is 'reparation', or pure pride that is keeping them 'on board', really makes no odds. As for them to jettison would have unthinkable consequences.
My suggestion of maybe GB has had long enough was purely related from the Venky standpoint ie how much longer can they heavily fund the club in the hope of promotion, and the 'windfall' cash balancing injection.
Given one, they could then 'back' off with some smattering of pride intact and have a more marketable commodity to get rid of.
Given the above, would that urge me to more often visit Ewood to witness the glittering array of 'stars' strutting the upper tier........I very much doubt it.

I feel that is very much it
we need the money of the glitter ball league to put us back to where we were pre venkys clueless/stupidity period however i would feel most of the supporters prefer the tight unpredictable nature of the championship
the premiership after all is a precession of the Billy big *******s the rest must fall in line.
