Should be interesting between now & Christmas!

All the top teams play each other: Sheff W vs Brighton, Hull vs Middlesbrough, Burnley vs Brighton, Hull vs Derby, Brighton vs Birmingham, Sheff W vs Derby, Derby vs Brighton, Middlesbrough vs Birmingham, Middlesbrough vsBurnley & Brighton vs Middlesbrough. & of course there will be upsets.

Who do you think will be in the automatic positions after these fixtures?

Looking at that lot if Brighton are still top they'd take some catching! I'm really looking forward to playing some of the top sides now we are finding our stride. Birmingham, Burnely and Borough were all draws but more importantly not losses. Will be very interesting!!

I don't think there will be much daylight between Derby, Burnley, Boro, Hull & Brighton come the end of the season. Lady luck will have a big hand to play in terms of those gaining promotion.

Getting very interesting, some key games between now and xmas, the team that keeps solid will prevail.

Its intriguing as the current top 5 have created a bit of daylight from the chasers. Brighton are unbeaten after 15 games yet still only 3rd; we've lost 1 and just 5th. 5 teams averaging 2 or better points per game seems unusually dominant in a division most thought would have many contenders.

Brighton's 3 consecutive draws have brought them back to the pack so they need to get back on the rails quickly or they will be swallowed up and dropped by the 4 chasers who all just keep on winning.

You certainly cant win anything by Christmas but a bad run for any of the current top 5 between now and then could seriously compromise their hopes of automatic promotion as there are a number of "unbeatables" around.

Ah there you are Rats, thought you were in hiding in your hole after being caught out in a recent thread!

I can see you need an explanation, seeing as I said nothing about the side that does best in my post, I said the side that keeps strong or keeps their nerve. That's not necessarily the best side, but the side with the most mental strength.

Hope that cleared that up for you, apologies for not being clear, must remember some elements of my audience I suppose

What have I been caught out on? Tell me the thread I'll revisit.

I know I'm not like you touring round as a new age prophet with comments like "if you score more goals than the opposition you will win" or "if you keep a clean sheet you won't lose"

Ok so what happens if Brighton "Stay Strong" don't lose a game all season but draw 30 games. Will they prevail

The one where I ironically said you really liked Rush as if you didn't know!

Anyway your usually the prophet on this board!

As for what happens to Brighton if they draw all the rest of their games, I'm sure even you can work out the maths on that one - I can see you as usual (and indeed as per the post referred to above ) just jumped in without thinking in your usual style to take a pop and post a load of smileys....whatever makes you happy is fine by me!
