A question for the older members.

Consequently what we perceive as our best ever squad varies in direct relationship with ones age I suspect - we all love the first team we saw at our first game.

OK, before some smart Alec says it first, I suppose my favourite team must be;

Carter
Stamps
Doherty
Harrison or Crooks

Im not really sure our squad is quite as good as we think.Sure we have a surplus in midfield but what happens if any thing happens to Martin Shackel or Keogh because I cant see any replacements good enough.We saw what happened on Sunday when we lost our left back Baird looked completely lost

When was the last time we had a squad as strong as we do now?

Not sure that you would have to be so old to remember Jimmy Smiths promotion side and the constantly evolving squad that had a good run in the PL until 2001. Both were superior to what we currently have imo.
