Rab, thought the series was over egged, did not bother to watch most of it.

The SAS are drawn from Army regiments whereas the Marines have the SBS( Special Boat Service) its equal to the SAS but works in different areas.I had an aquaint to see if it was for me , it was not ! 2 things really put me off, such as parachuting into the sea at night and underwater diving with a rebreather set, this was in Singapore harbour and you were told to take a certain course, the water in the harbour was very murky and only way to navigate was with a compass on your wrist.
The SBS are always on call if there is ever an attack on North sea rigs or platforms, they have all these amazing gadgets and magnets to get in any platform.

As for Gaz he is always pulling my leg about me writing a book which of course I have done, it's a thriller.

If you are interested Rab go to amazon and just type in the book section "A Piece of the Action" by Graham Price, and you can tell me how crap it is. As a matter of fact there are parts of the book which are true but I have had to write it as fiction.

Al Jenkins washed the sand out from his toes as the warm waters of the South China sea washed over them.
He had a lot of thinking to do after the unexpected call from his buddy on the Gold Coast, Simon Richards ex Aussie SAS. A job in the Gulf, a ball breaking job, lots of dosh. Lots of sultry, busty, eager women.
