This would be closer to "ethnic nationalism" - an entirely different, and altogether more ugly manifestation of nationalism (in its purest sense of the word). I would class myself as a civic nationalist (happy to provide a definition, although it may be a bit long-winded, sorry), but have no particular enthusiasm or admiration for the views expressed in the piece you linked to.
