A Tom Daley classic by Beany that the referee chose to ignore and the Sons took full advantage of

It is a characteristic that Beany has in his game which frankly is embarrassing for the whole of the club. He is known throughout the game for his antics as evident my the opposing fans reaction to him. If he could only get his head down and concentrate on playing the game fairly he is an asset and a proven scorer in this division but I also think he is now too old to change his behaviour. Shame really.

Looks like some of the players stopped and were looking for the foul. quite embarrassing by Russel.

Iain at 33 years old will change his spots !
According to the referee it was a good tackle then and Russel's dive contributed nothing to the goal ![/quote]

There was no tackle, Russell threw himself to the ground before their player got to him [nothing new there].

What we can say is that if Russell had of stayed on his feet, controlled the ball when it came to him I would say there would've been next to no chance of Dumbarton scoring from that situation.

The fact that he did dive played a big part in their goal, surely you can't argue against that?

From the footage on the link it looks like a clear dive. From the highlights on QOSTV taken from the opposite side it looks like he's "possibly" been caught on the foot(hides under table awaiting backlash).
