    That sums it up beautifully the vast majority of our playing staff really did let us fans down and the tactical novice that is Gary bowyer didn't have a plan b
    I for one feel venkys made the change perhaps at the wrong time maybe the close season should of been the time
    there were clear problems in certain areas last season which got ignored
    ultimately costing us any chance of a play off place
    that said we were still in the thick of an embargo and who apart from Gary bowyer would of taken over as manager in that situation.

    Robin - you're probably right about the timing of the change.
    When GB DID go, that was probably right because of the prevailing the sense of staleness and treading water, but we WERE actually playing well before Bowyer got the sack. We just weren't converting multiple chances.
