Oh well, Johnson will be back in then!!!

I feel like saying 'game over' now and getting it out the way really. But here's hoping we get a good performance, 3 points and much needed confidence boost.

Hendrick and Bryson would be interesting to see together, but Bryson won't be match fit enough yet.

he,s probably got a appointment at specsavers after the number of times he passed the ball to the opposition on tuesday night

Thorne was a risky purchase. The management know of his frailty and should have ensured appropriate like for like cover or an alternative formation.

Agree with you VLH. I really like Thorne as a player but the likelihood of him making 46 appearances in a season is almost nil. My early thoughts when he first came to Derby was first on the sheet and build the side around him now I'm not so sure. He's not alone in this but too many passes going to the wrong coloured shirt and hasn't imposed himself on games as I'd hoped.

He seems to play a lot of stupid pointless passes that don't always come off. For example a 30 yard aerial ball to one of the full backs who isn't further up the pitch than he is. What's the point in playing the pass when there's a high chance it could just float over his head? Not what you expect from a player who's role would imply that he's the best passer in the team.
