Just have to trust Lambert and cut out the knee jerking after 1 below par display in 4, understrength at that

I`ve thought a little more and it only gets worse . I have no faith in any of Lamberts signings , Gomes aside , who could just disappear in games (as he did yesterday)
Get used to it we are now in a battle against relelgation and if we are to avoid it it`ll be only just .
I`m going to get my Burnley ticket tomorrow and I really fear us getting a hiding off them . The first time in my life going into a derby game thinking we have no chance whatsoever .

No way will that bottom 3 finish above us. We'll end the season midtable.

Unfortunately, saying it doesn't make it come true. Luckily, we have two games in hand of all the teams below us, and there is a five points buffer between us and the bottom three.
However, here are the recent records of the five teams beneath us in the table:

MKD: 12 points from last 10 games.
Bristol City: 12 points from last 10 games.
Rotherham: 11 points from last 10 games.
Charlton: 7 points from last 10 games.
Bolton: 11 points from last 10 games.

And our record? 7 points from last 10 games.

I don't think we will be relegated either, but I think we're right to be worried. Your comment that it's only one game in four where we have been poor doesn't take into account the fact that two of those matches were cup-games against lower-league opponents. For reasons I've never quite fathomed, cup-form often bears no relation to league-form.

    re: I`ve been reflecting

Can't say I'm not a little surprised with the downturn in optimism with the last two games (especially this latest one).
I think I am right in saying that all bar none were viewing this Feb month as being very challenging in terms of picking up points, even with our new man at the helm.
We are still very much work in progress, and always were going to be until the close season.
I think the situation being seen (in table position terms) is being viewed as glass half empty, caused by us being two games down on most of our competitors. Yes for sure if those two spare games glean us less than say one point, then it could be cause for raised concerns. But on the other hand a six points haul and ???

Having said that I've been away and not seen either match so, maybe I should be worried

On last showing yes it is time for concern
tonight game and the mk dons one is just about as crucial as your going to get we could do with wins but under no uncertain terms should we come off the pitch as losers.
