This is football and emotions would have been running high at the end of the game?

At the end of a game emotions are raw, we have a defender that was part of a defence that has just conceded 3 goals in the last ten minutes of a game in which his team had been coasting, what do you want, smiles?

I would be very disappointed with anything less.

The fact that Thorne is clearly seen having a go back at Shacks and in doing so could be seen as sticking up for the manager seems to been missed by most in order to make a point.

This is not to say Wassell didn't make a rookie mistake. A mistake that even a manager of an U12 parks team would not have made.

    Nail and head Hoodie.
Given what just occurred, you wouldn't expect smiles all round.
Shackell is clearly livid about what had just occurr

There can be little doubt that Wassall is out of his depth although everyone seems to overlook the fact that results have been better under him than they were under Clement between Boxing Day and his departure.
The only reason he might not be 'accepted back at the Academy' is because of the animosity currently being generated by certain 'supporters' who can't handle their disappointment at Rotherham's fight back yesterday. Not really helpful to anyone imo.

I was doing my nut yesterday, to switch to 4-4-2 when 3-0 was a mistake, tucking BJ IN when the got the first goal and Blackman onto the wing to go back to 4-3-3, and what is the ultimate, not bringing butts or Hanson on at 3-2, just to kill another 60 seconds, and break their momentum!
Changing the system when in complete control of the game is very, very strange!

I can't tell what Shacks was saying, but I bet it's along the lines of: why did you change the system you t***!!!!!!!!!?

But anagram, the results aren't better.
If you compare the teams that Wassall has played against (all bottom half teams)..and compare the coresponding fixtures under PC...you will see that Wassall has gained just 10points from the 7 games ...where's PC gained 21 po

Take your point Paulo but I wasn't comparing like for like and you can't really compare Rotherham at the iPro when we were on a roll to yesterday's re*****ised side under Warnock.
Think I'm right in saying that Clement took just 4pts from his last seven games. Wassall, as you say, has taken 10 from his first possible 21.
I don't want Wassall as a long term appointment anymore than you but I do think he's on a bit of a 'hiding to nothing'. As you said last week...just let this season end...then start again in the summer.

I honestly feel sorry for Darren wassall...he just should not be put in this position.
As you say...on a hiding to nothing and not sure he can ever recover in the eyes of the fans.
