well at least we have some good news to start with, as no matter what anyone says, we where going nowhere under that pudding. So he can go and study football again in europe and take his high pressing game to some other club.
and so it begins . Fasten your seat belts up tight lads , its going to be a bumpy ride !!!!!

I take it you don't rate him Champs?Originally Posted by champs95

For all of the reasons I have given in my other thread posting, I think I will reserve final judgement until after his next appointment.
It'll be an interesting week. I can't fault his reasons the clause' - whether this will get W@nky's to talk to him and be straight is another matter. My guess is that if they do, he'll still be here next season. He's played a good game, all the other coaching staff don't have release clauses and apparently none will take the managerial job. This leaves W@nky's to pay them off if a new manager comes in, as they will want their own staff. It will be an interesting week. Although knowing W@nky's, they will do nothing, Lambert will leave and they will be saddled with payoffs sometime in the summer when they get round to trying to appoint a manager and have no squad because half of the payers contracts and loan deals have expired. The Blackpool model!
For some reason I am going to Rotherham tomorrow, maybe in the back of my head I wish to see a proper championship manager at work.
Aucks favourite person !
I'm still not 100% convinced he's going myself actually and its all a ploy to get what he wants(why stay for the final 2 games?)
We'll see.
It's a bit irrational, really, Despair, but I must admit he makes my skin crawl. I know we're supposed to say that we can overlook personality if the man concerned brings success, but I wouldn't find it easy!Originally Posted by Despair
And, actually, he's yet another with a mixed record, which tends to be overlooked when a team is stringing a decent run together.
To see what I mean, look back at the posts on here after Paul Lambert's first four games!
