Be mad not to want him. Anyway, by all accounts he's off to Villa - their gain, whilst we end up with another nobody or unproven option!
He took numerous seasons to get promoted with Leciester to the Championship despite spending the most money most seasons. When they eventually got to the Premier League, they were bottom for the majority of the season before one good run of form saved them.

    Great success that...

He was also at Leicester for two seasons prior to that when his record and win ratio was even better. He won the league and then moved to hull

mcClaren moderate success but lucky based on false claims from united days. Given pots of money at Middlesbrough but I could have done what he did with that chairmans support,. Given the England job was a joke. Seen as a safe and compliant pair of hands not unlike giving Wassell the Derby job. Success in a lower league abroad but not kept up. Ultimately the emperers new clothes built up around his supposed talents caused him to implode. For me he's in the David icke envelope. Complete nutter with no idea. He will be explaining subuteo moves in his attic to a small dog and his childhood action men in a couple of years

Unlike McClaren PC may learn from his mistakes I should hope so. I just don't think we should be used as the basis for someone's apprenticeship
    Just googled Roger's man...Dieter Hecking...h

He had four goes at getting promotion from the Championship.

1st season: Won league one (an achievement but when you look at his team, you'd expect it)
2nd season: 5th and left the following summer before he could get sacked.
    3rd season (After returning): 9th
    4th season: 6th
    5th season: Finally promoted

    Did you forget those seasons?

One wonders why no other chairman has gone near him yet despite leaving last summer... Oh wait...

If you read slower you would see I am very clear and a bit more honest

First spell promotion followed by play off semi final . He left because sousa was in the stand and was being offered ghis job!

Second spell as I said 2 full seasons include both play off final and then promotion!

    Not bad

You need to calm down fella and show some rational thinking

    [quote="vanderlaans_header"]Self delusional
    History of non achievement
    Inexperience of management
    Talks utter nonsense
    Good at putting cones out
Unable to instil belief in players or fans for sustained period if at all
Ability to be obnoxious and defensive but not to spread this to field of play
    ****

Do you think these are the pre-requisites for th Rams job? Is seems to me they have been ticked for the last 4 managers at least

When are we going to appoint someone who tells it like it is and doesn't have their head up their ****? I can live with arrogance if it's based on performance and return but not when there's nothing.

For me I want desire , hunger, knowledge , ability to tell it like it is., motivation , empathy, experience of success at least at championship level

Dyche, hughton, Pearson, to but 3
I would even get a successful foreign coach with experience at a highish level..

I think that maybe you should have a look at what Pearson actually spent at Leicester - I believe you might have a surprise. They spent their big money under De Sousa and Erikson - Pearson had to sort out t
