Bodie, Hibs will get into trouble for the damage to the pitch & crossbar. But their pitch invasion was out of joy at winning a cup they have not had for over 100 years. Any normal supporter would have understood that. Anyone who pushed a rangers player will be dealt with. I believe he was arrested at the game, there is a photo of it.
There really is no excuse for Rangers fans to run on the pitch and fight with hibs fans, especially when the pitch was full of women and young children. From the evidence I've seen there is more rangers fans than hibs fans who were fighting.
One problem may have been the ludicrous decision to hold an Orange March in Glasgow, on the day of a cup final between Scotland's Irish club & a club with long history of sectarian problems towards irish people. We heard the songs and abuse all through the game, so when hibs got the winner there was always going to be a few fans goading them. The Rangers fans should have had more restraint but instead sang t

I just wish Sevco could leave Scottish football. They are not worthy of our League. Australia Perhaps?

[quote="Bodie80"]I'm no fan of either Hibs or Rangers at all but I find it unbelievable some of the things I'm reading on here about who is to blame on what happened on Saturday.
If either of the old firm fans did what the Hibs fans did the whole country would be in uproar but because it was Rangers players and staff that were assaulted then it's okay.
I get that Rangers are not the most popular club but what happened to their players and staff was dispicable. Hibs fans are 99% at fault. When you see the first lot run on they ran straight to the Rangers fans, they were not interested in celebrating. And of course we all know that Hibs fans are no angels in the past. As for Rangers fans, I thought everyone thought they were a new club so to put past misdemeanours like Manchester on them is not right. You can't have it both ways.
Think if you were at a game and seen supporters of your opposition run on to the pitch and assault your teams players and staff what
