    Replying to the various posts:

    1. FFP does play a part, but it also shows that the club are on top of their costs and no where they stand, the manager can be appointed from 1st June and we wont have breached FFP, appointed today and we probably would due to the on costs associated with the appointment.

    2. I never say anywhere that my alternative list is under consideration, just making the point that there are plenty who could be considered, anyway as Swale has already broken the news, he is correct the manager will be Sherwood.

    3. Have posted since last year, I think you will find I joined in on the Clements debate last Feb. He would have been fired had Derby been 10 points clear at the top, the reason is nothing to do with football or anything to do with him seeing a players wife, that's just not true.

Clements wife did leave and go back to Spain for whatever reason that was, it could have unsettled him sufficiently to lose focus. It happens in life. I liked clements play when it was up tempo but again we lacked alternatives and teams good at closing down, did just that and we played 50 passes across the defence and it was boring.

I believe mm that we are comfortably within FFP and it's not the reason we haven't appointed anyone yet. His wages are spread over a contract so it lessens the impact but he gave wassall an opportunity - many clubs do it to loyal staff but it hasn't worked in my opinion. Now we're looking but wassall is in contention (if he wants to be) and we are doing our due diligence and will appoint someone that is hopefully right for us. There might be queues for top people and clubs like celtic jump in fast......also good managers will wait and see what clubs are interested before deciding and plenty of big clubs are looking.......so why would it be a quick pro

Out of interest, does anyone think that AFC Bournemouth are unduly upset about the penalty imposed on them for contravening FFP?

If it was just a fine rather than embargo.....then they are probably still laughing now!
