UEFA can only act on what happens inside the stadium so unless they're planning on banning England because a load of their fans ran away from some Russians I don't think you can expect England to receive a UEFA censure at this stage.

That's a very convenient cop out for UEFA - "we can only act on what happens inside the stadium". Yes of course they should act on what happens inside the stadia - but they can't absolve themselves of having absolutely nothing to do with the carnage going on outside stadia around their tournaments.

Heaven forbid there's loss of life are you still suggesting it's nothing to do with UEFA and that they can't take any sanction against teams whose fans have a very long history of violence against other football fans?

Have UEFA no duty to the victims who just want to turn up and watch their country play in a UEFA tournament just because it doesn't actually happen within the stadium? Bonkers!

Good news for England and Bales though, they'll just need to win one game.

I'm not suggesting anything, I'm telling you what the situation is across there.

So let's have it right, England FANS (many with kids) get attacked inside the stadium by organised Russian HOOLIGANS and some whopper on here wants England 'censured' over that???

Erm no - what he meant was that English thugs have been terrorising the locals for a week and have been involved in running battles with the police, but that all of this has been conveniently forgotten because a couple of them got a slap from a few Russians inside the stadium.
    Hope this helps

    Conveniently forgotten?

Six English people were jailed yesterday & Hodgson/Rooney have been begging their fans to stay out of trouble. Plus the violence has been all over the papers for the last week.

Christ - why do I have to explain myself every time on here - conveniently forgotten by those crying about the fact that the England supporters are getting some stick for their behaviour...

Fair enough, I haven't seen many of these people myself.

Surely everyone can see that England have a load of d1ckheads supporting them.

Every team, national or domestic, has tw@ts supporting them. The point made on here was that the national side had received no 'censure' from UEFA for their fans behaviour outside stadia. I really have no opinion on whether they should or shouldn't. I am well past that sort of infantile crowing
