The clubs who haven't signed anybody, proberly have a full squad from last season, unlike the Millers who have enough for 5 a side games, with subs.

When you look that we need a new Millers bear, who we can't even sign, what chance of getting players in.

    Should we be worried??

Were we worried last season, the season before?

    What is Tony Stewarts remit??

My guess is to have a squad capable of finishing above 3 teams in the Championship. No more and no less.

Have Barnsley or Burton made any mouth watering signings?

Can we presume going on the last 2 seasons at least 1,2 or 3 teams will struggle, teams you may not really expect to struggle. Fulham, Wigan, Bolton, Charlton, Millwall, MK Dons etc etc. going on the last 2 seasons.

Will we assemble a squad capable of finishing 4th bottom? I'd say yes we will.

Is this enough for us, die hard fans, players and owners. I'd again say yes.

Why did over 3000 of us go to Stadium MK to cheer us on to win a game that basically guaranteed us 4th bottom if we're not happy with that.

Should TS stop talking about Play offs and the Premier league, No
What's he supposed to say to attract potential new season ticket purchasers. Buy a ticket, we're going for 18th place!!

We all know teams that finish in the play offs spend a fortune, we never will do.

Will we be happy with 4th bottom this coming season, you bet your f@cking life we will.

Things could be so much worse, ask Bolton, Charlton, Sheff Utd, Portsmouth fans if they'd swap places with us.

Keep enjoying the ride, if we're this seasons Blackpool so what.

Its been a ****ing great ride so far!

    So why are they lying????????

To be honest i am usually very optimistic but i am rapidly losing patience with the bullshine thats coming from the club these days. Also worried for start of season i am hoping Stubbs does something in the next 10 days. We should have a squad ready for pre season not in the middle of August .TS talks about the premier thinks hes got himself confused with the hotel chain .

Last thing we want to be doing is rushing into signings for the sake of it because were a little bit thin on the squad size, for a club our size in this big league its imperative that we take our time and get the recruitment right otherwise it will punish us big time if we get the recruitment wrong. Its only middle of June and season kicks of beginning of August theres plenty of time yet.

How is there plenty of time, the players have to get to know each other on the field of play, just getting players at the last minute, is like teaming up Pavarotti with Johnny Rotten.

Stubbs only had six players when he took Hibs over so he should know what he's doing, O/S he's shortened his target list and is looking straight across the board for players (get your boots ready ) loans, frees and bids on players at other clubs.

We just have to have a little faith in he knows what he's doing and the board have got to be behind in.

Come first day of season I'm sure the majority will be cheering the team on as usual with the same fans leaving early no matter what

Calm down, read, process and think!!!!
I don't need to calm down, read, process and think.
Maybe the club should learn to put out a proper statement.
All five players were offered a contract by the club but when Stubbs came in he didn't want Derbyshire (don't know about Best).

I don't think they did offer contracts. Why would they? Where is the evidence that we offered contracts to all 5? Its only semantics but that's what you are saying they are lying about. I think the way it works and I might be wrong is something like.... They sit down with the player and/or his agent and discuss what the player wants and come up with an offer. They then discuss the offer and negotiate, and only when everything is agreed do they offer the contract to be signed. Why would you say 'here is your new contract, what do you think?', for them to come back and say, its not enough money or its not long enough. You are just wasting your time writing contracts before things are agreed. That's why we said we were in discussions with the players and not that we had offered them contracts.

Also the club has been burned before by giving out 'proper statements', I know there is not much chance of that in this case, but you can understand the clubs reluctance to letting the fans and therefor everyone else know what is going on at the club. They are keeping their cards close to their chest and rightly so.
