Yeah agree, he did ok. But the OP commented that he was a MoM contender and that is what I was reacting to, so not nit picking just an opinion.

A player that clearly divided opinion on lots of social media sites. Millers on Twitter offering completely differing opinions. Personally I thought he played well, so much more assured than when he was with us last season. A couple from Derby sat next to me and making their first visit to New York Stadium, thought he was one of our stand out performers! That's the beauty of this game, everyone has opinions!

Tom Thorpe didn't get a lot of game time for the Millers last season, he was well thought of at Manchester United, but surplus to requirements, so we snapped him up, so a good squad player for us.
One Ryan Giggs said he was sorry to see Thorpe leave Old Trafford, because he is a good player.
