Not disappointed the Pele deal fell through. Hopefully this means that jack price will finally get a fair shot at retaining a spot in the starting XI

I wish we still had a LIKE button to say we like/totally agree with the post in question???
Well, I like your post Michigan and would definitely like to see Jack Price in the starting XI too as he shows grit and his confidence is developing shown by his forward runs with the ball.

Whilst I agree that Jack Price is a very good player, I don't see him getting anywhere near where this whole thing is going.

I don't know how true it is, but on Silvio's instagram page, he's confirmed he's signing for Wolves. Click on the Wolves badge, translated version below link.

silviosapereira Wolverhampton FC will be my new home! Just to terminate contract with Atletico de Madrid and decided to seize this opportunity and this new project in this great club! I can only thank the Athletic forever engendering me well treated and facilitated my life in these moments of decision. Now, how could not pass, I wanted to thank a lot to the Sport Lisboa e Benfica and his followers for 3 wonderful years I spent in Lisbon! It is true that due to some serious injury my income was not expected, but I hope to have shown professionalism on and off the field! I will never forget you! They lose a player, but as always have one more fan to vibrate by our Benfica !! Thanks a lot and even always

Wolves have confirmed the signing of Silvio on their twitter page, he's signed a one year deal, with the option of a further year. I hope he can prove his worth to the new head coach and fans during his time at the club.

13 league apps in 3 seasons- presumably we do medicals on a Tony Daley comparison thing now.

Hopefully he's over come his problems and if so we've a very good players on our hands.

    Next one please

Glad it's a one year deal because of his injury history. Though if he blows up and has a good year, it'll be back to a club in continental play for him

Well, read on another board that Silvio is out three weeks. Been injury prone in the past and it doesn't look any different here. With Iorfa out on red card (assume that doesn't carry over to the League Cup match but only league play), we'll need one of the backups to step up. Wonder if this means Deslendes will get a chance or if Saville or Coady would move back to FB. Maybe we go three at the back.

Deslandes does not have a squad number, but I think he can be given one if they decide to play him.
