Take him on a free and pay him no wages but 50K/goal up to a max of 1M
He wouldn't be able to get on our pitch, our moveable pitch-side bus hasn't enough height room, he would have to stoop to conquer.
Take him on a free and pay him no wages but 50K/goal up to a max of 1M
Sounds like another Tall story to me.
'
Talking of Tall strikers without a club, I was watching Niklas 'Lord' Bendtner train with FC Copenhagen on Thursday. He would fit the bill of a tall striker who can hold the ball up.
we have more than 3 million to spend that's why we have only bought 1 player.
that's why with a week to go to the start of the season we are struggling to field a team.
that's why last year team is near enough the same as this years team.
the same old dribble is been spouted out by the club year after year record bids, done deal until the last minute, not value for money.
you would of thought in 2-3 years now we would of actually managed to pull of one of these mega signings if we was serious surely??
bradshaw would of showed a sign of intent.that lad will be a welsh international in a couple years yes the welsh team that got to the semi of the euros.
but they wanted $10 more than stubbs valuation
Think he played for Pompey against us at Millmoor, maybe around 2001.
He did and he scored at railway end.
Do you not know anything? A bid has nothing to do with why players don't want to come to us!
we have quite a bit saved up I'd tell you but I'd get fired
The reasons we are having issues bringing talent in is
1 the back staff who deal with it are around 27 people big clubs have 10 times that
2 wages we can afford the bids but wage wise we struggle
3 the doom mongers like Ian Holloway put them off from signing
4 our training ground is a joke (mr Stewart is working on this as soon as he get the grant from FA it's a go)
Monkhouse scored a blinder...
