I have not seen a single post on here abusing Tony which is something we can be proud of as a social media site.

Some criticism of his lack of spending has come from me and others and I think we have every right and reason to do this.

Questioning and criticism is a good thing with regard to businesses that are taking the money of stakeholders/ fans.

Abusing Tony is of course wrong and pathetic.

My message to Tony is get that wallet open a bit more fella..you have just prised it gently open but more is needed...open it wide as we know you've got a bit more in there.

Speculate to accumulate....500 K in the Championship is chicken feed.

Riley.. The only thing offering 1.5 million for a player with a sale ticket of 2.8 million shows is clever PR.

In response to the PR bit no not PR at all milwall valued Gregory at 2mil we put a realistic offer in and to be fair it was a fair offer for the player but milwall are ass holes and up the price. I feel sorry for Gregory to be honest he is 27 and could have had another shot at climbing the ladder now he has no chance on making it to premiership being tied to a dead end club like milwal

You know what I'd offer nyman a fair wage but I'd bribe his agent lol

PR? We offered almost 1.5 million and had it accepted. Millwall then realised they had other clubs interested and went from their original 2 million to 2.8 million. I don't think it was PR, I think we were going through with it at 1.5 million.

Kempo, there has been stuff put on here that's been poor.

There was a post, put up, shut up or sell up ffs. There's been other things too but hey ho, people have an opinion don't they.

I haven't seen anything from you though as per.

If we get the striker and the Scottish midfielder I will be happy enough for the time being. If not, we are still worryingly thin 2 days before the start of the new season. I've never once criticised tony stewart and I've never even called for him to spend any money. my criticism was that we could very well be cut adrift by the time the transfer window shuts which I think is a very realistic possibility. I will never and have never said anything bad about tony stewart. I'm ashamed of the fans who do abuse him

To be honest Chris I still dont think the Gregory deal is dead in the water. No real reason, but just a gut feeling as I think that TS is playing a cagey game. He said that a deal would probably go through today, but who is saying thats its Nyman (presumably he is the one who will cost a fee). Its never over til its over and we do not know what work is going on behind the scenes.

I hope it's not and I admit when I herd we offered 1.2 and was rejected I was saying more Tony offer 1.5 he has offered that and I think it was bang on what Gregory is worth I wouldn't pay more than that maybe buy him a drink if he signs but nothing else. I'm not a old man who thinks a chicken and a shilling is a lot of money I keep with the times honestly some peoples valuations on players you would think we were shopping at Aldo for players

A unproven talented championship striker to buy 700.000 knock off 50.000 every year over 19
A proven championship striker who is in league 1 1.5 mil knock off 100.000 for every year over 25
A striker who is in championship who is wanted by another rival or premier club 7 mil and add a million for every year under 27

That is how I see the current fair price guide

Wouldn’t surprise me if Gregory deal was still simmering, especially if the swede won’t or can’t come
