JRS, I am not surprised that there is a bounce in your step at the moment and I am truly happy for you. I cannot deny that not for a moment did I think that Queens would be sitting near the top of the Championship at his early stage in the season and I applaud both our manager and our team. I was one of the few who reserved judgement on the transfer of Stephen Dobbie until I had seen him play; but I am happy now to concede that if he maintains his current level of performance his will have been an inspired acquisition. Not only are Queens performing better than I had expected but several teams are performing much less well - all of which is goods news for Queens' supporters. But ...... there is always a but, isn't there.... I have seen too many false dawns to get carried away just yet. Take my advice, JRS; start celebrating not when the fish nibbles the hook but when it is safely landed and in the basket. What are my hopes and expectations for Tuesday night? Well, I certainly hope we shall not be undone like Celtic were last night. Rangers will still be smarting from the thrashing they received on Saturday past. Warburton and the team will be determined to progress in this cup competition and will be equally determined not to slip up against lower division opposition in front of the home support at Ibrox (indeed, Warburton is coming under such press scrutiny that he dare not slip up here). I expect that Rangers will progress to the next round quite comfortably and I expect our only consolation will be a handsome pay-off. Will your delusional optimism or my realistic negativity prevail on the night? We shall know the answer to that come this time next week.

Early in the season yet and our form has so far been tremendous but three games in a week against tough opposition will be a huge test for our wee club so let's get intae them !

Yes, the big games are coming thick and fast now. The squad will be pushed to the limit but the pleasing thing is that there is quality in reserve as well. Hilson has come in and done as well as Dykes. Brownlie keeping Higgins out of the team also. Now, if you had said that two months ago you would have been laughed at. Tapping is a more than useful player kicking his heels desperate for a chance as well. Don't forget that if we beat Linfield, we are in another QF. First things first and Raith Rovers.

By not attending Ibrox , you're just letting the knuckle draggers win . If you can't handle a little verbal abuse from fans who are now more than a section away either side , then you need to seriously man up
We've a great chance of causing an upset , just like we did a few years back when we beat them on penalties . Anybody who's still to make up their mind just remember what it felt like when Ryan McGuffie slotted away the winning penalty that night . That feeling and those celebration will live with me and the near 2,000 Queens fans forever
    The team needs your support
    The team wants your support
and more importantly the team deserves your support

Before we all get too carried away with our travelling support, - can we please remember that there's 3 huge matches in 7 days.

Even the most faithful supporter will find it hard to budget for all these matches.

Of course the team needs our support, but it might not be possible for people to attend all 3 in large numbers.

It's only costing us £25 next Tuesday night which is our bus and entrance fee to Ibrox - Bargain

Some of the posts about Rangers and not attending Ibrox across on the P&B site are quite embarrassing . Some have a real hatred for them , something the same fans acuse Rangers fans of
The bigger and noisier Queens support next Tuesday night the better . And remember we receive 42.5% of the gate receipts

Read what I'm saying carefully Mr Cresswell. I am not making any predictions about beating anyone but wouldn't be that surprised if we did take more scalps .That is not celebrating prematurely in my book or being unrealistic either. Being happy and enjoying the ride more accurate.

I knew exactly what you were posting, JRS. I expressed my view on how we shall fare on Tuesday night as well as counselling a bit of caution on your part. Enjoy the moment but, as Mr Warburton said after his team were soundly beaten on Saturdsy, judge us in May. Well as we have performed so far I think it is much too early to get carried away but, as I posted above, if you are happy I am happy for you.
