    Yes. Good article.
    A bit sad really, makes me wonder about his insularity, and seeming inability to warm to the fans or reflect about his contribution more openly.

    Good posting Paul, perhaps Stubbs ought to have hired you as his personal assistant.

    Paul

    I felt both sad and relieved when I read your article - that it evokes such responses in me is a mark of what a great article it is - thank you for taking the time, thought, consideration and skill to create it and share it with us - you speak for me and many more in this

    I feel quite sad that he's gone 'cos I think he's a thoroughly decent bloke who sticks by his principles. I hope he succeeds, maybe with a club not as massive as Rotherham.

    I agree with your sentiments, Sota. A decent bloke catapulted too early into a top job.

    Stubbs Obv has an eye for a good young player. Ball, fry, Taylor, Vaukes, Fisher. Brown come to mind. If he goes down a league and gets the time to build a squad he will be a great manager..
    Tbf his signing record (good/bad players ) is far better than Evans record which was prob 1 in 10 (good/bad)

    [QUOTE=mrdog;38305427]Yes. Good article.

    I would have liked to have given him couple of more home games, but time rus out. He had begun to build a squad of promising players, was hindered by injuries, an ineffective pre-season and relatively low spending power. This sad end is not simply about the ex-manager.

    Apart from giving him a couple more games I think you are spot on with your analysis.

    I really enjoyed reading this article and think it encapsulates the views of most fair minded Millers fans.
    I would just add that Tony Stewart must also bear considerable responsibility for the mess that has been left behind and it is absolutely essential that he doesn't make a similar mistake with the next appointment.
    Just as an aside and I do think know if it really matters, but is Kenny Jackett any more charismatic than Stubbs?
