Queens in my opinion will prevail in the end but cherry picking players out as scapegoats is not the way ahead.
I wholly agree that Raith Rovers were simply awful but denigrating the opposition does not make Queens a good team. Awful though they may have been they still won and Queens still lost. The standard of play by both teams last night, particularly in the first half, was abysmal. Let us not forget that these are full-time professional footballers: but all they seemed capable of last night was, like wee boys, kicking the ball away in the direction in which they were facing. JRS suggests that some players are being found out. I would go further and suggest that in recent weeks Queens have been found out. You say that Queens will be well in the mix come April. That depends on your definition of "in the mix". If you are suggesting that we could be challenging for automatic promotion come April I'd say to you, " Not a snowball's chance in hell". If you mean a top four finish I'd accept that as possibility but , only a possibility, and only if we show considerable improvement on our performances in recent weeks and only if some of our nearest rivals, such as Falkirk, don't lift their form as well. Does anyone really and truly think that the automatic promotion place will not become a two horse race between Hibs and Dundee United?
Finally, with a near empty stadium, an appallingly bad performance by each of the two teams (particularly the first half performances) and the game on TV (even if it were only Alba), that game was an extremely poor advert for Scottish football generally and the Championship specifically.

Admin, firstly, I wasn't comfortable slagging any Queens player and very much hope that anyone I have criticised proves me wrong. The fact that I mentioned a few reasons why our form is bad surely means I wasn't scapegoating anybody as such. In the same way that I wasn't any better than Sunday League level and that no Scottish internationals are going to get new a World 11, then I have said that I didn't think particular individuals are really good enough to play at our level. This is life in general and we all have our limits , some more than others .

I have subsequently found out that Kyle is a triplet, with Devon and Sheldon being the other two. Keighan is one of four other brothers in the family and is two years older than the triplets.

Not sure if the other 3 brothers play football.
Keighan is back in the UK after playing back in SA.
One of the triplets was at Berwick Rangers and is now at Kelty Hearts last I heard and the other one isn't playing football now.

Being in the mix in my opinion means Queens will be contesting in the play-offs. I don't think the standard in this league is very high this season and there may be many twists and turns particularly when Falkirk and the two fife teams go head to head. I don't think the game was as bad as was made out to be - if we had sneaked a win perhaps opinions would have been different. Some of the comment has been way over the top on Social Media - one punter has even suggested that Dobbie is not fit.

I agree it was a poor advert for Scottish Football but a teatime kick off on a Saturday is an invitation for disaster - the atmosphere at Starks Park was similar to a dentist's waiting room and I admire the small band of Queens supporters who turned up to watch this farce.

In contrast I watched Glasgow Warriors play some fabulous rugby on Friday night in front of a full house at Scotstoun. Loads of families in the stands with their menfolk clutching pints of beer - also some decent snack food on offer - Rugby seems to have got their act together !

You can say what you like on here my old mate as long as we use our common sense and don't go over the top. I personally try to stay away from derogatory remarks about players and officials as I know how harmful it can be to the personnell concerned. I sit next to a certain player's father and girlfriend in the stand and they have told me they stay away from Social Media for obvious reasons.

I personally have found nothing offensive in your remarks about the performance of certain players.

No, I shouldn't have said that he wouldn't be a good player as long as he has a hole etc . My feelings were raw straight after a defeat and maybe I should wait at least an hour to go on social media to calm down a bit. I stand by the rest of my comments about all the players mentioned and some not up to our standard though. If any of these guys left Palmerston and joined another club then I would be wishing the best for them also.

I'm sure Skelton would have asked Kyle about his brothers already, anyway.
