I am offended by your suggestion that my closet lesbian comment is offensive to some yet unknown individual or individuals.

    A sorry state of affairs.

I don't feel sorry for them at all - they could have done something about this a long time ago instead of going along with the personality contest aka the Presidential election. I hope DT gets in, as it will perhaps help them to realise what they have become.....

On a more sober note, the U.S. system is set up to fail anyway, because the Senate often goes to the opposition party, therefore effectively clipping the President's wings...

The betting on the election is interesting.

Clinton is out to 1/3 now from being as low as 1/9 three weeks ago.

Trump is in to 4/11 after being 5/1 three weeks ago.

In betting terms for this sort of event its a coin toss almost. The momentum is definitely with Trump though.

For the first time in my life I've actually taken an interest in events over the pond.

I think Trump might actually pull it off.

The election, not his secretaries bra btw!!

    11-4 not 4-11 Riley
That still means 75% Clinton 25% Trump approx

Trump might win the popular vote but it will bw difficult for him to win the electoral college even now.

Agreed, Tony. Biggest problem likely to be a lame duck Clinton, a hostile and divided America and Russia playing "chicken" in the Ukraine, Georgia and the Baltic states. Dig a bunker quick.

What timescale are you using here, gm?

Well the betting is very fluid at the moment. Still think that one (maybe both) parties have a bombshell they've been holding back to launch on the day before polling day. So odds might move dramatically

Get yer money on the first female Muslim leader of a UK political party. You heard it here first.
