The tims seem to have the league wrapped up and the scramble is for second place. Aberdeen have the track record there in recent years; hearts are dark horses but way too inconsistent at the moment; and the newbies have ideas waaay beyond their station - but that's what gives everybody ammunition to laugh at them. They think they've some divine right to win trophies and that their aping an extinct club somehow confers on them bragging rights despite the fact they've done hee haw at the top level.

So while there's scrambling for second place, and the doling out of silverware this season is again very unlikely to involve them, they'll continue to be mocked for their pretentiousness; attempts at looking down their nose at others, and utter arrogance in all matters relating to Scottish fitba.

Ken, but how are Morton getting on?

I'd hope a bit better, last minute goal, but on a decent run overall so mustn't grumble. Think it'll be one of the "big two" that'll go up but as long as Morton make the play offs I'll be happy. And there was the good run in the LC albeit the goal looked a bit dubious. Top 16 in the country no too shabby on the whole.
