    Pete you must have a million memories of your Father....try to think of the happy times with him at this very sad time ... it does sometimes help....

    A great age for your Father to have reached..... bless him and may he now be at peace .....

    Tough today but a nailed on win against QPR on Saturday might just make him smile.

    Sad news, Pete. My mother, also a lifelong Millers fan, died under similar circumstances a few months ago. Condolences go to you and your family.

    My mum suffered with dementia as I mentioned on a previous thread you were involved in.

    As sad as it was to lose a parent both myself and my brother said we were glad that she had been released from such an awful illness.

    All the best to you and your family.

    Didn't know your dad played for us.
