    Again from the Wall.

How nice to read something positive for a change.. ain't it, Woody ?

I'm happy that Wolves came away from Hillsborough with a point, but i feel it could and should've been three. Putting the ball in the back of the net and the ref not awarding a stonewall penalty are the only negative things of the game.

I questioned the defending after the QPR defeat, but today, Wolves defended well when called upon. Carl Ikeme producing three saves that kept the home side out in the first half.

Connor Ronan didn't look out of place in the Wolves starting line-up, he grew into the game, very good ball control and also looking to pass and move. It was a shame to see him substituted in the second half, but was on the end of diabolical challenge that i don't think he really recovered from. As a midfield unit Wolves looked good going forward, up top, both Bodvarsson and Mason offering movement and getting into decent scoring positions.

Two of the main talking points from the first half, Westwood's foul on Doherty, the keeper was late, the ball was nowhere near. I can understand the Wolves players anger with the ref.

As many will no doubt see, Mason's miss from a couple of yards out, Bodvarsson's effort coming back of the bar and Mason fires over. It's times like that when you think it's not going to be your day, thankfully Wolves weren't made to pay.

The second half, very much the same as the first with Wolves creating decent chances, Mason could have scored three today, that 'miss' in the first half, another chance put wide and also one off the post. Doherty, again a threat going forward, had the penalty appeal turned down in the first half and having an effort cleared away.

A positive response by the Wolves players today against high flying Sheffield Wednesday.
