Remember beating Barnsley 2-1, after a replay in late seventies, and they in turn winning 1-0 in 1981. Was it our only home defeat of the season?
Most memorable for me was the epic battles with Leeds in 1971. A home draw and a narrow away defeat against the best team of that era, bar double winning Arsenal.
Worst, a 0-4 defeat at Macc in the mid-eighties.

Ohh yes our 0-1 win at Millmoor in 1980-81, that was your only home loss that season. Who would have thought then that we would finish in the top two places that season

I remember the 2-1 game very well , our promising young centre half Mick McCarthy was given the run around by your Trevor Phillips , couldn't get near him .

I remember the Northampton game where we could hardly see the bloody match and for some reason we sung suck my knob to the A Team theme tune.

The draw at home to Newcastle with Johnson netting the equaliser. The Newcastle fans sang you greedy Yorkshire B@stards to us as Boothy had put the price up for away supporters. They continued singing it to us up at SJP where we lost 3-0.

    Happy days!

I just cant imagine Mick Mac as that promising young player anymore Animal, not when you see him with his grey hair now lol. Remember when we struggled to beat Enfield in the same season we put the Millers out, they decided to arrange the replay at Tottenham's White hart lane ground. And replays were in the same week in those days, there was none of this 10 days or more which we're used to now.

35k at WHL that night to see a non league club play a third division one , magic of the cup in those days , 8k travelling reds too , mightly rough afterwards walking back to the coaches , not the greatest area in london then or now .

I wish they would STOP talking about that goal when Trevor Sinclair is on Match of the day!!
He scored an absolutely amazing overhead 'bicycle kick' goal for Qpr against Barnsley in the Fa cup 20 years ago!!
But lets face it, we lose just about every single time there at Loftus Road anyway.

Now then Millers, I notice it was too little too late today against Oxford. Is that a fair or unfair description of your cup tie ?
