Fantastic footballer and never reached his potential.

Off the field, just awful. Though in his defence, this is a man with serious mental health issues and has come close to taking his own life.

It's probably more a reflection on the poor quality of NHS health care for mental problems.
I don't condone his actions, but the reality says, he's needed real help for decades.

I would of thought he could go private!
Seriously why would a man in journalism get involved with a spat on twitter with hundreds of Derby fans?
    He obviously cannot win.
Also he has certainly crossed the line of decency this time, it will be interesting if the Police get involved or not?

No excuse for kicking a woman in the face. I know loads of people with severe mental health issues. Not one of them is violent. That's more stigmatising of people with issues. He's violent low life scum. His depression is secondary to that.

I know of lots of people with mental problems doing time for their illness.

So sorry Triz, your diagnosis is insulting. He needs help and not condemnation.
The NHS in this country is shocking where mental health is concerned.

All to easy to ignore and condemn. I don't defend his actions, just his condition.

OK I'll be a bit controversial, how come tricky jumps on the mental health bandwagon all of a sudden, oh how much these people need help but no one listens, is it because it's in the news recently? If you or any other forest fan really feel that way about SC specifically his mental state have you or any other fans told him he needs mental help whether on twitter, or anywhere else they can contact him........,maybe a radio phone in, I will stick my neck out here and say no you haven't and don't dare say it to him. Personally I think he's perfectly sane and in full control of mind, if anyone else thinks he's mentally unstable then maybe they need to tell him...........then get a good lawyer!

No you are insulting those with mental illness. Similar to the gun nuts in the US trying to blame the gun deaths on people with mental issues. You have insulted millions of people by effectively saying "he kicked a girl in the head as he suffers from depression". As I said I know many people who suffer from this, someone very close to me was in intensive care 2 years ago and very nearly died by taking her own life. Stans actions were nothing to do with his depression, and people with depression do not need to be labelled as violent phsycopaths by amateur phsycologists looking to excuse there heroes actions, and that is what you are doing.
