Yes, there has been at least one( probably more ) and I will give you the answer by 12 am if you haven't got it.

The article you refer to is of course Ian McCartney's interview with Warren Hawke in the recent Dunfermline home programme. I remember reading that Warren does ironman competitions and is involved with Morton but couldn't recall the opening paragraph that lists all these players .Must be old age ! --------Off hand I knew Warren Hawke had played for Sunderland in the 92 Cup final defeat by Liverpool and Forsyth had played for Man United in their 1976 defeat by Southampton . Dick Malone played in Sunderland's 1973 win over Leeds. Would have had to look up the record books for the rest.

Maybes a wee bit tenuous here and quite possibly wrong
but did Ally McLeod not play in an FA cup final for Blackburn
(then again does one appearance as a sixty-something trialist in a reserve game really class him as a QOS player)

Yes he did, but only included players with first team appearances. Should perhaps have included Hugh Mcilmoyle who I think played in a testimonial. Dave Thomson, another Leicester player was in their Final squad on 1963,

Thomson made 16 appearances for Queens and passed away last January age 77.
