"Why would we be lining up our next signings already."
Because the manager for next year is in place and working with the "football manager" player selector.
I simply can not justify Warnsey getting the job next season. If most of the squad want him then that's one hell of a reason NOT to give him the jon!
Listening to Antonio Conte and big Sams comments regarding the players input in the "thinkermans" sacking - their said:
Conte: The players should never guide the club about the choice - working of a manager NEVER - "It means the club is weak"
Sam: The players arn't as qualified as I am - I know more than they do about football - systems / tactics mean nothing unless the players listen and perform to the best of their abilities.
Both are spot on - so going forward let the players be players and manage the club from the top down.
I think Rotherham United has suffered greatly from player power this season - so much so that it's cost our place in the championship.
Spare the rod and spoil the player !
Ffs just ruined my night people saying Warne will be manager.
Get a new manager in
April when season tickets go on sale might here something more concrete.
Warney not my choice but sooner have him than Uwe Rosler. What's he ever done?
I will rephrase my post No.9, of the players that will more than likely be here next season the majority want Paul Warne.
lbj, if you`re saying the same as Pocket rocket that a manager is in place & working alongside Jamie Johnson surely it can`t be anyone that`s already in work, would the club have to make an official approach ? Yes they would. The media would sniff that one out. Which brings me back to Steve Cotterill.
The club ought to make a decision before season tickets come up for sale not after.
I just don't understand why people would even think Paul Warne is option for the job.
If he gets the managers job it will be one of the worst appointments ever made by rufc.
