Nice to see the U23s win some silverware last night. Hard to believe we had not won the Cheshire Senior Cup since 2003.

But that's only because of the years when the League Teams (until we became the only one ) played each other in the Cheshire Premier Cup, and non-League in the Senior Cup. They only came back together a year or two ago.

Thank you. I had wondered looking at the list of winners since 1979 on Wikipedia. Only Stockport and Tranmere appeared as recent finalists - both after relegation to non-league.

Amazing to think that we are now the only Cheshire football league club. Perhaps Tranmere will return this time?
