JCH gave us something we haven't had all season. A presence up front. Play him rest of the season in place of Morris. Why did Warney bring Yates on? When are we going to see Bray. Taylor runs all day but never gets past a man. Newell was never in the game. Fisher was our worst player. Vaulks to play R back rest of the season but he's got a lot to offer from midfield. O'Donnell looked abit more composed.

Not brilliant but I enjoyed the game.

O'Donnell did well and what a save from their 1st? Free kick, they were always going to score with the ref given them free kick after free kick and turned a blind eye with their number 26

    Smallwood MOTM for me today
Morris was knackered and should have scored, I'll leave a no comment on Yates
Great goal by Ward (shouldn't be captain though)
JCH did well (needs more game time Warney)
Not the best game from Fisher but he will learn
Still we need to spread out more and go to the ball.

Forgot to add, we didn't need players wasting time the ref was doing it from the start

Millers match stats today (source BBC)...
    50% possession
    12 shots at goal
    3 shots on target
Ok, last stat is a bit poor, but rest are almost "normal", ie pre-Stubbsy
Not sure if that means we really are improving, or just that today's vsitors were the worst that we've had all season...

In the second half, we should have beaten the Brummes - worst B'ham City team that I've ever seen, and I've been watching the Millers play them since the 1960s. Smallwood giving away all those free kicks on the edge of the penalty area, knowing that the ref was whistle-happy too, was bound to lead to us conceding a goal eventually. (No football sense) . MOM for me was Ajayi. O'Donnell was a big improvement on Price in goal. Ward, Fisher, Morris, Adeyemi and Newell all looked about only 50% match fit, so you can tell how poor B'ham were from that. Good chance that the Bluenoses will be relegated? (they were worse than Wigan)
Mike....worst Brummie team ever was when we thrashed them 5-1 at Millmoor when the late great Dave Mackay was their Manager..remember that day well....

... and even more stangely, the fourth official indicated only ONE minute injury time for the first half, even though the ref himself had been off the field for treatment for an injury for about three minutes, and there had been various other injury stoppages. It was a fairly poor first half though, so I don't think that many fans were complaining (Did the fourth official have a faulty stopwatch?)

Quite an entertaining game, even comical at times, but way way below the quality you'd expect at championship level. Birmingham were utterly dreadful and can see them getting relegated. None of the out of contract players impressed enough to earn new deals and Warne needs to be ruthless and let them all go. I'd also try to move on Taylor,Fisher,Blackstock and Yates(who is conference level at best). The recruitment guy has a lot of work to do !

2 very poor teams. O Donnell was better in the net.
Good goal by Ward vaulks looked better at right back.
Fisher was poor has he got his feet on the wrong way round.
Joe Newell should be embarrassed he bottles challenges.
Liked the effort the second half and the fans responded.
Good to see us battle back from 1-0 down.

Wasn't actually present at that match , although I've got a video recording of the full game. If we'd had somebody of the quality of Bobby Williamson playing today, we would have probably got another 5-1 win
