Have we signed anyone with a hernia yet?....It seems to be a speciality of ours.

What about the three lads offered minimum wage contracts like Yates...Have they signed on the dotted line?

We have employed legends to coach and bring on our cheap signings and two fitness guys to work with the crocks we hope to pick up for coppers later in the closed season.
Loan players will be supplied with a free Tom Tom so they can find Rotherham.
We also have our super computer software that has now had its XL spreadsheet set to three decimal points so we can more accurately monitor our transfer costs.

It's not "pessimism" - it's that awful word "realism".

What a jolt last seasons relevations were and continue to be.....

We are being run as a business and not a football fans plaything. Last season was about living within our means and it's as simple as that.....and it hurts to realise that our "Toy Town" image is appropriate.

Recently Wilson has said that coming to Rotherham was a culture shock. Redfearn left prematurely - as did Stubbs within weeks of the start of a 3 year project. Both have stated that all is not well within the club. KJ came - he saw - he scarpered...lol

All these men followed the dubious exit of the EVO brothers.....

All the above men are very well respected individuals who came to the club to help us but left under a cloud of secrecy - that is....none of us know the real reasons these all left the club ( if they do they're keeping stum )

These guys have many contacts around the game and the phones will have been ringing within football circles.....the point is all of the above can't be wrong and something within the club is dreadfully wrong.

The end product of all this is perhaps that the totally illogical conscription of Warne as manager is purely due to the fact that nobody else in football wanted the job and someone literally had to do it.

It would explain a lot....except why the club is potentially a pariah within football - which is only a small family and exists in a permanent state of the football version of the Official Secrets Act.

The club is not in good health and is severely in need of dialysis.

Wow lbj, what went wrong? At last an eminently sensible and thoughtful post from you 😉
Quite a few of us have been saying for some time that something is rotten in the state of Rotherham United and your comment about "phones will have been ringing within football circles" is undoubtedly the case.
Things started to unravel with the mysterious departure of Steve Evans who allegedly had to sign a confidentiality agreement which prevented him talking about what happened. Since then, Neil Redfearn has mentioned "broken promises" and both Stubbs and Jackett hinted that all was not well behind the scenes.
As you suggest, Paul Warne may have been the only realistic option available and, if that's the case, he's going to have an even bigger job on his hands than we thought.

Funny thing Kempo, I was at Rotherham hospital yesterday, had to have x-rays, the young receptionist is a Millers supporter, & I told her we would be signing somebody who requires medical treatment.

We are looking for players with repaired cruciate ligaments or anyone in need of hernia surgery over the summer preferably both.

On the manager front...We have hired a clown so expect a circus!

The BS simply continues, it's just Warney who has been commanded to utter it rather than his employer. No evidence to support we are in the market for anything other than non league cheapo's.

I'm guessing that fewer and fewer can even be bothered to read the mutterings coming out of the club. No wonder Warney is still hanging on to see if any of the deals on offer are being taken up. ............................................ It is a nonsense and is representative of what we are ............................

Let's be positive, 4 out of 6 have signed extensions or a new contract out of the existing players. JCH, Yates, Mattock and Ward. We all know there is every possibility that Ward will not be here come the start of the season but at least there should be a little bit of money left after Huddersfield have had there cut of the deal.
