Hey c'mon guys. If OTR can do this Machu Picchu trip for a genuinely good cause shouldn't we be giving him some backing?
It's a big ask, especially for someone now approaching 102, gutsy thing to do imo but it looks like he's falling behind a bit in the 'money pledged' area.
I know it's not till next March but sure he'd appreciate the encouragement of a little more financial backing. Be good if the forum as a whole could get behind him and provide some support. Every little helps and 'he's OTR...he's one of our own' as they say.

Have you asked 'Coco', OTR? Should be in a generous mood having been voted Stoke's player of the year.

P.S. It's easy to donate via the link in Post #1.

I had a curry night tonight which was very good. Not sure how much I have mad yet, but I was a great effort from all who attended.

I am past it but John Suchet is doing the trek with me and he is aged 74 which is even older than me. So I thought, if he can do it, so can I. The difficult task now is getting the donations in ......and getting fit to trek 20 miles a day at high altitude, which will be almost as high as Everest Base Camp. Fun times ahead .
Do you mean John Suchet the former newsreader, is he really 74 now ?
Vlogs and Blogs are all the rage these days Oldie but I dont know how to do them either lol.

Good to hear OTR...hope the coffers soon start swelling and the fitness growing.
Bit like a pregnancy now...only nine months to go.
Thought Acido might be offering some support, but he is from 'Yarksher'.

Yes it is John Suchet the news reader. He is 73 now but will be 74 at the time of the trek. I will only be youngster compared to him as I will only be in my 60s.

Acido.......how about bucking the trend and prove that Yarksha folk are indeed generous in giving to charity.

Thanks Turfmoorspirit for your donation.....Top Man!

RamAnag aside, how about some of you Derby lads showing your generous side? After all, I will be flying the flag for Derby over in Peru. I would not even mind a bit of Nottingham money too lol.
