Have you been down and taken pictures Casper.

Paul Davis is sending down the company photographer has he's not strong enough to carry a camera. He'll probably come back with union reasons and copy right issues for being the reason.

No froggy I haven't been down to take any pics I've been on holiday a few weeks also missed Cams recent visit.
Last season the players were paying cash out of their salary for food provided at NYS after training, next season they will be able to have their meals provided at Roundwood, of course they will still have cash deducted from their salary & hopefully they get a decent menu to choose from...oh to be a footballer lol...have heard Polly can stand up in the new gym and the Analyst room is like the one David Moyes had at Everton....incremental improvement I think it's called.... credit to the club an improvement on the metal containers.[/QUOTE]

Ideally Blackstock will treat the rest of the lads to their meals as his way of making a small contribution to the cause.

It may not be state of the art and it's not on our own property, as originally promised, but if you disregard the original TS BS it is obviously a real improvement to what we had. So, although in flagrant contravention of MM rules, perhaps it is something for us all to be just a teeny bit less grumpy about (sorry)

I agree Wrinkly and we should look at this as significant progress from the totally inadequate set up that existed in previous seasons.
It's apparent that a great deal of thought has been put into developing these facilities and hopefully the players will benefit from them next season.
Some people tend to adopt a sneering attitude to the word Portakabin (correct spelling) but if they look at their website they will see that the quality of their modular buildings is very impressive.
I haven't been down to Roundwood yet to have a look at what is being constructed but I will go in the next couple of weeks.
In the meantime, surely these latest developments can only be seen as a step in the right direction given that TS reneged on his stated intention of providing state of the art facilities at Tinsley/Brinsworth.

I've been down and you know what they're ok.
I think people need to get over the training ground crap now.
    Didn't affect Steve Evans team.

If the players are good enough they're good enough.

Exactly Pocket but hopefully better facilities will help to develop better players.

Just come back from there ..They look smart although not finished yet. Deadline Thursday according to a site manager i spoke to. He told me it will be a number of buildings all bolted together to look like one with separate rooms like a office complex . Red and black trim around frames with windows doors and all the trimmings .Alot better than i thought to be fair.

Wont let me upload picture .
