I reckon we ought to have something similar in the Pavis Stand. I’ll happily bring some cymbals.

That should keep everyone awake when there’s not much happening on the pitch.

Incidentally, I see the Kop is renamed the “Air-IT Kop” this season.

Thank you so much, it's either that or supply Ear Defenders at the Turnstiles.
I'm there to watch the game .... not to be deafened by some inane simpleton monotonously thumping a drum.

I doubt if any one who bashes 7 Balls out of a Bass Drum in the Kop will get a Membership Card for the Musicians Union anyway, if what lve heard of the last Stick Master. 😢😢

Maybe he should offer his backside as a replacement.

The Kop is like a younger version of the Pavis some days, a little like a morgue. The drum generates atmosphere, so, yes from me.

I joined this message board the week after the drum started in Z Block.
I had the hangover from hell and he sat on the row behind me...hence the username!
That said I do think the drum adds to the atmosphere and should continue.

If were going to have a drum, can we get one without any skin on.

a Twitter vote over a new drum. God I'm glad I don't engage in twitter. Can't someone just buy one like the good old days and if the sound annoys you don't sit close to it? Since when did a twitter vote prevail over common sense? As part of the fit and proper persons test all Football League chairmen should have to sign a legally binding contract not to tweet those twits.

Or at least one with a mute or damper fitted anyway.
