Thread: No law and order,in our country.

  1. #11
300,000 more people permanently moved to Britain than left Britain last year. This was the lowest figure for around 9 years. So close to 3 million more people plus their offspring that have been born here now reside here. All needing to use the NHS. Many needing money off social security. Many needing schooling. Some need police help, some are criminals who end up in jail.Yet we continually cut back on the funding of these things.
We have to assume those among the 3 million that are working are paying tax. Most will buy VAT rated products thereby putting more money into the Country's coffers.
What has happened to the money saved by these cuts and the extra money generated by the immigrants?

I think a jail term is in order, along with a lengthy driving ban and a massive fine. Blowing them up seems a little over the top.

Labour's manifesto committed to abolish tuition fees and Corbyn verbally talked about wiping student debt. John McDonnell and Corbyn both backtracked on this pledge to eliminate fees (after all the students had voted) stating that it was an 'ambition' to eliminate fees. It was the sheer cost of it that caused them to backtrack on their manifesto pledge which brings to mind that old addage that if anything appears to good to be true it usually is.

Just today, The Centre for Policy Studies (CPS) said Labour’s flagship general election education policies would result in poorer non-graduates effectively subsidising students who then go on to earn thousands of pounds more every year and that picking up these education costs would effectively slap a 2.8% income tax rise on the taxpayer.

I think blowing them up may be more of a deterrent GLM.

But if you'd like to try stopping them by using the other method the ball's in your court so to speak .

You can't say it was Lies, they will not have the chance to prove if their economic argument would have worked or not. However it goes without saying we would have a fairer society for most people to live in. You Sir have to question why the print media are so keen for you to vote in favour of brexit and the Tories.

I don't agree with everything Labour says or does, but I do detest the Tories and yes I can't understand why anyone would vote in favour of the Cons or Brexit. Unless you wield lots of influence or wealth and want more of it.
