Lad sat near us has Wednesdayite inlaws. Says he's seen Hirst a few times and is miles better than anyone we've got. Stop dithering Warne and get him signed ! Thursday looms.

If SWFC are prepared to send him out on loan we should be first in the queue. This kid is a really good player and at league 1 level I can see him being a winner.I would say the priority is an injection of pace in central midfield plus we need a new goalkeeper ASAP.Mr.Chairman spend the cash on these players to make us into a "winning team".

If you look at our club whilst trying not to be biased it seems clear to me that attracting decent players on loan would be difficult if not nearly impossible

    Why would they come?

We ruin more careers than develop them
We don't have a manager with a track record or reputation of any form
We don't have any coaches or trainers of any note
Even after a bit of a spruce up our training facilities are poor
It's also Rotherham, a town with "issues"

Yes we do manage to sign loan players but they tend to be those with very few options left where we are basically last resort or a nice little earner before retirement.

I take your point Grist, however their manager has come out and said he would not object to Warne taking him .It would be better not taking loanees on but we are who we are.The chairman will upset a lot of fans, if he does not support the manager in recruiting new blood in to the squad.

Rawson's contract was due to run out June 2017, he was on loan at Coventry City until May 2017.
With his age not sure if a small fee has to be paid to Derby County, by the club who sign him.

If George Hirst sorts his long term contract out with Wednesday`s & he becomes available before the Thursday night deadline Paul Warne ought to do his best to sign him. This lad will more than likely go on to play for the full England side sometime in the future.

    Get him signed if possible.
