Thread: "Wrong move at the wrong time," says former Millers boss Jackett

Well we've all done it, bought a jacket that didn't fit. Sadly for us the shop wouldn't give us a refund when we took it back.

Never wanted him at the club in the first place. Mr Millwall should never have been allowed anywhere near the board room. A very overrated manager. I was glad he went. We were going down regardless of who came in. It was a complete mess and when he saw just how bad it was he couldn't run away fast enough. I hope we get something from Fratton Park or at least put in a good performance against them.

You could be forgiven for thinking something significant DID change after he was appointed and that's the reason he walked. I've always thought there is a lot more to this story than we've been told.
I read the people wrong and the situation wrong, really hit me between the eyes,Kenny Jackett, does not have to make things up as he goes along,i think he was made promises, and the board didn't keep them,as for the situation we were in Kenny would have known full well what he was getting in to,he is far to experienced not to have known,so on that particular point,i think he was making excuses to the public.

I think it was as simple as coming to far north to manage a club. He thought he could go north of Watford gap but realised he couldn't.

. Forgot about his stint at the Wolves. He must have been comfortable in the midlands. I just meant proper up north.

Was glad to see the back of him whatever the reasons.

Me too. A point would be a good start in turning things around. It will be a good test for our defence this Sunday. We'll see if they've ironed anything out during the week. Heading practice must have been top of the agenda!

    Likewise!
My main concern is if the game becomes a tactical battle I think I know which manager is most likely to come out on top 😕
