    Aye he did contest it apparently BUT he only got a 3 game ban i thought that if you appealed/contested it it was automatically a longer ban when you fail..

    Well i bet if it was one of our players it would of been extended

    In all seriousness i also thought that if you contested and were found guilty an extra game was added on. Maybe although it was reported he was contesting he didn't actually officially do so.

    Aye Jamster, that seems the logical explanation and considering the state of our "press" with their copying and pasting brand of journalism.I think ya reet...
    I wonder what the first day at uni's like for people deeing a journalism degree??
    Probably a couple of John Pilger documentaries,then watch a quick Watergate..Then... "Right who knahs how to copy and paste?"

    They should have been given a club fine as well as the extra game for the sheer fecking cheek of contesting it.

    They only increase the ban when it is a frivolous appeal.
