Pretty shabby response if you don't mind me saying Chris, especially as you have no idea one way or the other whether I want the man to stay or to go, short term OR long term. Nice try at the humour thing if you were trying to be funny though, hang in there .

You see I support West Bromwich Albion Chris. I'd have thought that was pretty apparent. As such I wish the best to whomever the incumbent manager may be. That said I was never comfortable with the appointments of Saunders, Gould or Little.

I didn't scream for Irvine's head, I wished him the best. The same for RDM and Clarke before him and with TP now. But just because I don't make ridiculously over the top statements when things go against us, it does not mean I think all is rosy in the Albion garden.

I prefer to post with balance and as even evenhandedly as I can, although I do admit to irritation with some of the outlandish bull sh it which passes for opinion on the board at times. But if you're under the impression that I'm a happy clapper then you're under a false impression. You have your opinions and I have mine, but in this instance I know which of our opinions is better informed.

All of the very best of luck to you in your ongoing search for a sense of perspective, and don't give up on the humour thing just yet .

I too can see that some things need to improve, but the "doom and gloom" on this board is sometimes over the top.

Btw, Danny, I hope "outlandish bullsh it" wasn't referring to me (outlandish as I understand it can have several synonyms: alien, exotic, foreign, strange, bizarre).
