Not exactly 'passionate'. It was a source of some enjoyment which has been ruined, that's all.
No desire at all to 'take it over', far too busy with other things. I am one of a number who suggested a candidate for an actual active mod who seems to have more than a modicum of decency and common sense, but again that suggestion has been refused in favour of retaining the clearly ever so effective status quo.

Yes, the failure of no one other than Rats to respond to reasonable questions from members who clearly hold this MB in high esteem is objectionable. As far as Rats is concerned any posting is a good one even when it borders on personal abuse, breach of MB rules and downright rudeness!! I, personally, am not bothered if young rams fans join and post - indeed I welcome them so long as teacher (Mods) ensures they learn what standards are required and that breach of rules and etiquette earns an appropriate punishment as is applied to other posters.

I first watched the rams in the kids corner where we 'larked about' but when I was able to move into the adult areas (in my case the 'popside') juvenile behaviour was quickly responded to by the adults including a clip round the ear by a copper!! It is not unreasonable to expect a similar protocol should apply here!!

It's one theory Acido. Another is that Rats is R4J/DDD...and yet another is that Rats is a moderator, but that last one really is stretching things.
