Most are really looking for either that wee darting bending run from off to on or a 2nd phase play when it's an advantage to be in an offside position to gain a yard or so.

It's frustrating when a player is offside a lot but not as frustrating as never being off.

Griffiths is a master at strolling back. Not lazy though.
Think the linesmen are looking for the curved run from offside to onside by forwards who try to have at least the same speed as the defender has when jumping for a high ball kicked out by the goalie or perhaps a high cross into the centre of the field. Don't think many if any of Moussa's offsides against Hearts were for breaking too early, but I was sitting in the Bobby Cox which makes assessing the accuracy of off side decisions a piece of cake. Dundee player-never offside, Hearts player - miles offside!
