You will get the same ol' same ol' when the product is the same ol' same ol' week after week whether it be West Brom or England, there are no positives and very little sign of it changing...

There were two bulls talking and one said "you playing football this week?" the other replied "no mate I found a hole in my Jersey"....

    boing boing !!

You're right MJ, I was in a bit of bad mood last night so I was probably venting my frustrations. Mind you, I still stick by my original statement that Livermore has performed as well, or better, for England than those playing on Thursday evening.

Putting to one side what that says about the state of our national side, I agree LB. Although I feel much of the criticism toward JL for his performances in an Albion shirt has been justified, I also believe his contributions are often overlooked. He does the 'dirty work' which often goes un noticed and applies himself with greater endeavour than given credit for.

However, given the form of Barry and the increasing influence of Krychowiak I cannot see a place for him in our starting eleven, other than when attempting to stifle the 'top' teams. We have upgraded in the middle of the park and are currently awaiting the rewards. While happy for him on a personal level following his selection for England, in my opinion JL has to up his game for club before he can be considered for country.

Despite a qualifying group many other nations would envy England have struggled. We have the players to do better both at the Albion and on the international stage, it's about both management set ups settling on how to make the best of the resources at their disposal. Something which I believe both are currently failing to achieve, hopefully we will see improvements on both fronts in the not too distant future.

I have actually come to the conclusion that Southgate only picks Oxlaide Chamberlain to make Eric Dier look good. I really don't need to see anymore of him to come to the conclusion he is terrible.
The central two of Dier and Henderson offer nothing. Neither however does Livermore, who's career stats are appalling.
Like the Albion I think they need to go 3,5,2 or 3,5,1,1 This 4,2,3,1 formation effectively means there are 6 defensively minded players on the pitch. Which in my view is one too many.
