Boyd is as thick as mince, another ignorant misinformed waste of oxygen pandering to the knuckle dragging masses!
^^^this all day long. Boyd is a kunt, one of a long list of kunts who worship that bigoted institution, they will never change and wear it as some kind of badge of honour. Probably saves them from buying a pint when they are out and about as the knuckledraggers adore such people.
Heard it last night.
Was incredible even for radio Scotland.
His back up was that the dabs downfall started at same time as rangers being voted Doon. That was it.
Was pointed out that yeah it happened at same time but there was surely no correlation between the two.
Did it happen at the same time as the vote though? Our demise can be traced back to one specific night and this happened quite a bit after the vote not to allow a new club into the top flight.
not even close to the same time. about 3 years, 3 top six finishes, 2 cup finals, a jonny russell, andy robertson, stuart armstrong, gms and a ryan gauld later to be precise. kris boyd is a delusional, ill informed ****, and the worst part is hes actually being paid to spout that pish.
One of the oldest tricks in journalism is to be controversial as it creates a reaction. Sutton amongst many others make their journalistic career by doing so. What is scary is that I don't think that is what Boyd was doing. I think he is just genuinely that stupid.
Rangers weren't "voted doon".
Rangers folded in 2012. A group of businessmen lead by Charles Green then bought the left over body parts.
They used those body parts to form a new club. That new club decided that they were entitled to start life in the SPL because a space (known as 'Club 12') that Rangers once occupied was now vacant (consideration was also given to Dunfermline and Dundee to have this space too).
The new club applied to the SPL, this was rejected by the SPL Board. Dundee were eventually given the space left by the now defunct Rangers. The new club then applied to the SFL and were granted entry to the bottom league.
Rangers were not relegated, demoted or sent down. They did not drop leagues or anything similar. Rangers folded.
