Dont you just love the fat fu c king kernt. How much more is this going to add to the total price????
    When did they sell?

And is £5 million a fair price, i suppose that is £4 million profit but is very sneaky.

You're right that it'll add to price. £300 million for club - no problem. Oh you want that bit of land, that'll cost you another £100 million.

Exaggerations obviously but principle is correct.

I think this aspect is going to play a prominent role,in the sale of the club..
I think it will either hinder our sale to such an extent that it totally f u cks it up,or sees Ashley in the dock(fingers crossed)
    Has anyone got the details?
When did we buy it ?
As far as I understand it was bought by the club for obvious reasons ie the extension of the Gallowgate..
Now it has been sold to Asleys property developement company for £5m.
Was it actually "up for sale" or was it just sold on the cheap from one of his companies to another?
    Is this even legal?
amazes me how many people think ash has gone and things will come out

    do we own it

didnt an old lady stop us building on it
or was that the other side

he aint gone so dont build your hopes up

    lady seen in ground
lady does a NDA with 4 others
    the club is sold

    sad pheckers

if they can't increase, they will move to a new stadium.

anybody who doesn't want any of this change, doesn't want the club bought off Ashley, as the oil rich, will want to maximise their investment.
i wouldnt be surprised if the INVESTMENT company buy the club

and move us out of the toon into a bigger multi purpose stadium that they own out right

seems to be the thing these days

i don't think it would be out of town. i would suspect that they would manage to get planning permission where hall and shepherd couldn't (castle leazes / leazes park.)

As Mick says 60k+ seems to be the capacity everyone wants now. If we could build on the Gallowgate to mirror image the Leazes it would be 60k as from what I remember there were around 1800/2000 seats added to the lower NW corner (between the Leazes and Milburn), 3000 in the upper NW corner (where the away fans used to be and is now the 18/21 section) and there are 2800+ spaces directly behind the goal where the away fans go now so 7600/7800. Capacity is currently 52402......so that's.............errrrrrr....do yer own maths!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was owned by the club not that long ago,it was an asset but since slug did his dodgy bit of business, its now become a bargaining chip..

Hope Pat doesnt log on anytime soon, nobody is biting to voldermort...

I cant see there being an issue. Man U are looking to extend Old Trafford to 85k in the only place they now can on their main stand, going over the rail line. It would cost a lot, probably the money (£42 million) that the last extension cost because of the metro underneath some if the road, but the council will want the club to remain where it is given the revenue for the city with its location. If any new owners have the money it would be a great investment any it would look like Celtic Park.
