You won't miss it Mick. We moved to Hinksford three years ago. Saturday afternoon walks through the farms and woods with my wife, followed by a few drinks in the Navigation is much more enjoyable.
Rarely watch football now, not even on the tv.

    I think you're right Des.

It's likely that my three month old grandson might mean a re-kindle some desire in the future but for now I'll just pick the odd match I think.

I see plenty of 'Baggies' fans came to the match today dressed as plastic seats.

We have always been known as a footballing club, most Baggie fans would sooner us be relegated playing decent football than watching the shyte that is being served up on a weekly basis. Can't say i blame them.

I last came up close to 2 years ago, for the 0-0 draw against a Villa side who couldn't put 2 passes together and were looking sure fire bets for relegation. Their defence were like rabbits in headlights when the ball went anywhere near them.I think we had one tame shot on target. 7 hours travelling to the ground and back, pre match meet up with friends off here (which had become the only highlight) and taking in the game had become a drag rather than a delight. I will watch the games on TV or on a thread if possible but I can't see me returning any time soon, certainly not under Pulis. He saved us from relegation in his first half season which was, at the time, great. Pity he didn't retire after that.

    Agree with this.
In a twisted way I was gutted we didn't lose by more for the future benefit of the club. Is that wrong??
I don't know why the next game's result makes a difference. We've seen all he has to offer.
A team needs balance whether across the pitch or up and down it. There was nine defense minded players yesterday and two attackers. That is not balanced. We did not play three at the back we played five in my view. Either way.it didn't work we had conceded two in 15 minutes. If you play them three in midfield with three centrebacks you do not need specialized full backs to play as wingbacks.
Next week will be the same. He may play seven defenders and bring in Phillips.
He needs to go enough is enough.

For every Newcy that ever there was will gather there for certain because
Today's the day the Three Fingered Dingles have their picnic

Every Newcy who's been good is sure of a treat today.
There're lots of left overs to eat and toddler games to play.
Beneath the trees where nobody sees they'll hide and seek as long as they please
For that's the way the Dingles have their picnic.
This is the most sensible post you've ever made.
Do you still speak for the majority?
Are you finally about to admit I was right six months ago about The Anti Coach?

    What is he on about??
“We played a little bit differently with a swivelling set up at the back because they outnumber you through the pitch,” Pulis said.
Does he mean that at one point Sane was turning Nyom inside out and then a few minutes later he was turning McCauley inside out?
I also think we outnumbered them around our penalty area. Well they did leave their goalie back.

We are now being linked with Carrick. More youth and pace. Nothing like building for the future.

Even though we played with 5 across the back Nyom was lurking with the centre backs for the first goal, leaving the scorer unmarked. Gibbs was AWOL for the cross that let to the third. He had pushed forward (fair enough for a wing back) but the centre back hadn't covered him. These are not events TP can be blamed for. The ultra defensive midfield is.
